Air Creebec has taken steps to upgrade its air service by investing $5.5 million in a Dash 8 aircraft, the same type of aircraft used by AirOntario in its flights to Toronto.

Air Creebec has taken steps to upgrade its air service by investing $5.5 million in a Dash 8 aircraft, the same type of aircraft used by AirOntario in its flights to Toronto. The new aircraft has more modern technology and travels faster than the previous aircraft used by the company, a company official says.

Air Creebec has arranged chartered flights over the Christmas season for travellers going from remote communities to Timmins to do their shopping. Daily flights to Attawapiskat have also been scheduled.
