The Northwestern Ontario Associated Chambers of Commerce and Weyerhaeuser Inc. are offering two scholarships worth $1,500 each. The scholarships are available to students from the communities of Kenora, Dryden, Ignace, Ear Falls, Red Lake and Nipigon.
They are available to students who are pursuing a post-secondary education in forestry and the related fields of engineering, science, business or pre-medicine. The scholarships will be awarded on academic standing and community/school service.
