Science North in Sudbury has been named Attraction of the Year amongst tourist attractions across Ontario.
The recognition came during the annual Tourism Summit, hosted by the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario. Science North received the most votes in its favour across all categories of the Ontario’s Choice Awards.
Other finalists included Treetop Trekking and Lang Pioneer Village.
“Congratulations to the winners of their respected categories, to the finalists of the Attraction of the Year Award, and in particular to Science North,” Attractions Ontario CEO Troy Young said in a release.
“This particular award is special because it was voted upon by the people who visit these attractions.”
Science North had earlier been named Top Indoor Attraction at the Ontario’s Choice Awards.
