Laurentian University in Sudbury will be the site of a national office for a new research network that will assist in the adaptation to changing climates. The co-ordinating office of the Canadian Climate Impacts and Adaptation Research Network for Ontario opened in February on the university's campus.
The network is part of a $10-million investment from the Government of Canada to bring together researchers and decision makers from industry, governments and private-sector organizations to work on climate change impacts and adaptation research.
