With sights set on forging ahead with an aggressive exploration campaign on its River Valley property, Pacific Northwest Captial Corp. has plans to seek a budget increase of $3 million from Anglo Platinum, a South African platinum giant. Anglo Platinum has invested close to $7 million on the project to date. Exploration on the River Valley property, located about 50 kilometres northeast of Sudbury, continues to yield positive results, and indicates it may be one of the best platinum finds in the country, a company official says.

Late last year the company announced a 600,000-ounce resource at the site, but officials with the company are confident a one million-ounce resource exists on the property.
