Sudbury East/West Nipissing Community Network (SEWNet) recently received a FedNor contribution of $20,189 to develop a telecommunications technical plan for the East Sudbury and West Nipissing area. SEWNet is a group of stakeholders comprised of representatives from community development agencies and private-sector partners which operates under the leadership of Economic Partners - Sudbury East/West Nipissing Inc., a non-profit community futures development corporation. The project will support the enhancement of telecommunications and information technology and the development of economic infrastructures within the communities.
