The Greater Sudbury Community Development Corp. is committing $41,000 to two tourism attractions in Capreol and Onaping Falls. Capreol’s Northern Ontario Railroad Museum and Heritage Centre will receive $25,000 to help pay for a $79,000 proposal to develop an expansion plan for the museum.
The Tom Morley Mine project in Onaping Falls received $16,000 to assist with the design and engineering work required to turn an abandoned horizontal mine shaft into a tourist attraction.
