Sudbury's Laurentian University is introducing a new four-year e-commerce degree program. The highly specialized program requires a minimum 80 per cent Ontario Academic Courses entrance average. About 70 students are expected to be registered in the new honours bachelor of commerce and computer science program by September 2002. Laurentian officials say the curriculum, which includes e-business applications, enterprise application software, Web data management and management skills, will position graduates in the growing e-business software development and application segment of the global economy.
