Blind River's Cameco refinery received ISO 14001 certification in March. The International Organization for Standardization spells out a set of internationally accepted standards for maintaining environmental management systems. The certification provides a customer assurance that Cameco is a continuously improving its management systems. The Blind River refinery is the second of Cameco's plants to receive ISO 14001 certification after Port Hope.
