The Roberta Bondar building in Sault Ste. Marie will undergo a $6-million facelift to accommodate more staff with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. Lottery staff has grown from 415 to more than 500 in the past year.

The Roberta Bondar building in Sault Ste. Marie will undergo a $6-million facelift to accommodate more staff with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. Lottery staff has grown from 415 to more than 500 in the past year. The casino corporation, which employs 7,700 people in Ontario, maintains five charity casinos and 15 slot operations in Ontario. The corporation will occupy the former Ministry of Natural Resources site on the building's second floor. Staff will work out of the former forest insect laboratory on Queen Street until renovations are complete.
