Twin Saults to present lessons on international business

The twin cities of Sault Ste. Marie are pairing up to help companies in Canada and the U.S. do business internationally.

Business Beyond Borders is a one-day conference taking place on Nov. 6 at Kewadin Casino in Sault Ste. Marie, MI.

It will feature economic updates from Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., and Sault Ste. Marie, MI; a keynote speech from Mark Fisher, CEO of the Council of the Great Lakes Region; and a State of the Great Lakes Economy presentation by Robert Kavcic, a senior economist with BMO.

The event will also feature a manufacturers’ roundtable discussion with participation from Algoma Steel, TN Michigan, Superior Fabrication, and Main Filter.

Activities will be rounded out by an update on the $1-billion Soo Locks expansion project.
