The Algoma Workforce Investment Corp. (AWIC) will tackle the complex topic of workforce planning with a free summit in March.
The Workforce Planning Summit will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at the Delta Sault Ste. Marie Waterfront.
The conference will feature a keynote presentation by Michelle Schurter, the CEO and founder of Millennial Strategist.
Schurter is described as a leadership expert who has helped organizations become more productive by bridging the communication gap between generations in the workplace.
Other topics to be discussed at the event include:
- the aging workforce,
- attraction, retention and talent development,
- succession planning, and
- the future of work in Algoma.
AWIC said registration details and a full agenda would follow in the new year.
The event will be offered free of charge to participants, but registration is required.
