Sault Ste. Marie will welcome travel industry delegates from across the province in October for the 2018 Ontario Travel Information Services Conference.

More than 200 representatives are expected to attend the event. It’s the first time the event will take place in Northern Ontario.

“We’re always looking to bring new and different events to our community, and the 2018 Ontario Travel Information Services Conference is a prime example,” said Jennifer King-Callon, manager of meetings, conventions and travel trade for Tourism Sault Ste. Marie.

“We thank our partners for their support in allowing our community to secure the forum, and we look forward to welcoming the delegates in October.”

Tourism Sault Ste. Marie is a division of the Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corp. Attracting visitors is the division’s primary goal. One of its core tactics is securing and supporting major conferences, festivals and sport tournaments.
