Representatives of the Chinese Investment and Business Alliance of Canada will be in Sault Ste. Marie on Aug. 1 to meet with local companies that want to do business in China, particularly in sectors such as agri-food, forestry, and environmental technologies.
The meeting is an initiative of the Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corporation (EDC).
“China represents a huge opportunity for Canadian businesses to access new markets and growth,” said Nevin Buconjic, manager of trade, investment and community marketing for the Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corporation, in a news release.
“I encourage local business and industry to attend this information session to learn more about these opportunities and how to take advantage of them.”
The Chinese Investment and Business Alliance of Canada is also organizing a trade mission to China and other global business development activities through its networking infrastructure.
During the information session, being held at the Millworks Centre for Entrepreneurship, the organization will present on the trade mission, along with services offered.
This initiative is part of Invest Sault Ste. Marie, a targeted marketing program being delivered by the Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corporation.
The Chinese Investment and Business Alliance of Canada is a non‐profit organization aiming to help Canadian firms create a corporate synergy internationally with companies in China.
