Sault Ste. Marie’s downtown group has been recognized by the Ontario BIA Association (OBIAA).

Downtown Association SSM was awarded the Best Marketing and Communication Award during the OBIAA’s 2018 conference in Collingwood on April 16. It was one of nine awards given out during the event.

In addition, Josh Ingram, general manager of Downtown Association SSM, has been elected to the OBIAA’s board of directors.

The OBIAA represents Business Improvement Areas (BIAs) across Ontario. Incorporated in 2001, the association supports and advocates on behalf of its members through the building and nurturing of strong relationships and partnerships.
