Sault construction rep recognized for work

Adam Pinder receives President’s Award from the Council of Ontario Construction Associations.

Adam Pinder, executive director of the Sault Ste. Marie Construction Association, has been recognized by the Council of Ontario Construction Associations (COCA) for his work in the construction industry.

Pinder was one of two recipients of the 2017 President’s Award, which is awarded at the discretion of the president to members who contribute to the sector.

Awards were handed out on Thursday, Feb. 22 during its annual general meeting at Wodbine Racetrack in Toronto.

The Council of Ontario Construction Associations (COCA) is a federation of construction associations, the largest and most representative group of ICI and heavy civil construction employers in Ontario. Its member organizations represent more than 10,000 construction businesses and more than 400,000 employees.

COCA brings the concerns of our members to the attention of Queen's Park and is committed to working with the government to ensure that Ontario's legislative landscape is one in which our industry can grow and prosper.
