Northern Ontario Angels (NOA) is seeking entrepreneurs to propose their business plans during an October PITCH event in Sault Ste. Marie.

During a PITCH event, selected entrepreneurs will pitch their business idea to accredited investors, with the opportunity to raise investment capital to grow their business.

"Angel investing plays an essential role in economic development. With its partners, NOA is recognized by the National Angel Capital Organization as one of the top angel investment groups in Canada,” said Chris Winrow, chair of the NOA board of directors, in a news release.

“Whether you are an active or potential angel, or an aspiring entrepreneur or simply interested in strengthening our business community, come out to PITCH 2018.”

The Sault Ste. Marie event will be held on Oct. 11, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Quattro Hotel & Conference Centre. NOA is hosting the event in conjunction with the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre, RBC and the Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce.

The Northern Ontario Angels is Northern Ontario’s premier organization for entrepreneurs looking for growth capital and angel investors looking for investments. Presently, NOA supports angel investment groups in Sudbury, North Bay, Thunder Bay and Sault Ste. Marie.
