Information, telecommunications technology planning session open to public (11/01)

The East Algoma Community Futures Development Corp., in conjunction with Brent St.

The East Algoma Community Futures Development Corp., in conjunction with Brent St. Denis, member of Parliament for Algoma-Manitoulin, will be hosting a regional information and planning session relating to information and communications technology in the Algoma-Manitoulin area. The session is designed to update local stakeholders on what services private and non-profit corporations are currently offering in the area, and what their plans are for the future. Participants will be asked to provide input into what their particular needs and issues are, and discussions on how to best meet these needs in a regional way will take place with service providers present. The session takes place Nov. 13 at the Blind River Marina from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Interested local business leaders and community agencies are encouraged to attend.
