Marie expected to create 2,000 new representative jobs over the next two years, Sault College has introduced a call centre representative program this month to train workers for this rapidly growing industry. The college will offer eight sessions of the customer/call centre representative training program over the next 13 months, with the first session of 20 students beginning classes Nov. 26. The curriculum includes learning about call centre operations and development of communication skills with an emphasis on computer skills and management. Bell, a project partner, has invested $260,000 for a new training facility at a Queen Street location.
