The Municipality of Callander is seeking a new chief administrative officer (CAO).
Town council posted the job notice in August, following the departure of former CAO Mike Purcell, who departed the role in early July.
Located 15 kilometres south of North Bay, the community nestled in Callander Bay on Lake Nipissing counts just under 4,000 residents.
Known for its trails, parks and beaches, Callendar boasts a small-town feel with the benefit of large-city amenities close by.
In its posting, council said it seeks an “innovative leader, problem-solver, and communicator” for the role.
“Our overall goal is to ensure that we successfully/efficiently deliver services to ratepayers as well as to facilitate the growth, resilience and sustainability of the community,” the posting reads.
To participate in the recruitment process, interested parties are directed to email their full names, addresses, and contact information to peggy@e4m.solutions by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9.
Applicants will then receive the Expressions of Interest forms, which must be completed and submitted by 12 p.m. on Sept. 17.
