The Northern mayors of Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Thunder Bay, Timmins, North Bay, Kenora and Kapuskasing, with their CAO’s, are huddling in North Bay for a meeting of the Northern Ontario Large Urban Mayors, July 3.
Thunder Bay mayor Keith Hobbs and David Canfield of Kenora will participate by conference call.
The topic of discussions are the next steps to deal with power issues in Northern Ontario, the future of the Ontario Northland Transportation Commission, economic development, physician recruitment and the Ring of Fire.
