North Bay has been selected as the host city for National Transportation Day 2002, the launch event for National Transportation Week. The event will feature a conference to be held at the Clarion Pinewood Park Resort on May 31. The theme of the conference will be Transportation - Careers that Move a Nation, focusing on the diversity of careers within the transportation industry.
At a luncheon, on May 31, awards will be given to recognize individual contributions to the field of transportation and pay tribute to bravery, achievement and excellence.
