Air Canada Jazz will add an additional flight into Jack Garland Airport in North Bay starting on May 1.
The Jazz flight will depart Toronto at 6:25 p.m. and arrive in North Bay at 7:25 p.m.
The aircraft will then depart North Bay at 7:50 p.m. and arrive in Toronto at 8:55 p.m.
In an April 8 news release, airport manager Jack Santerre said the additional flight marks a 35 per cent increase in Air Canada Jazz seat capacity for North Bay travellers.
“The evening flight is popular because it allows travellers to spend a full business day in either Toronto or North Bay,” Santerre said.
North Bay is additionally served by Bearskin Airlines and Sunwing Airlines, which offers seasonal service to vacation destinations.
