The civil engineering technology advanced diploma is a three-year program designed to provide learners with the training they require to provide technical support and services to scientists, engineers and other professionals.

The environmental geomatics graduate certificate is the first program of its kind in Ontario to be dedicated entirely to geomatics. A professional discipline that encompasses the collection, analysis and presentation of geographically referenced data, geomatics uses a systematic approach to spatial and database problem solving. Graduates of the one-year program may be employed in sectors such as natural resources, geology, environmental research, land use planning and retail space mapping.

“Ontario is facing a worker shortage with a $24-billion price tag,” said Canadore president George Burton. “This is an astronomical price to bear. Canadore will continue to provide people with the knowledge and skills to help overcome the skills gap epidemic. We remain focused on industry needs and creating training for jobs for the future.”
