Slated to take place Nov. 25-27 at the Valhalla Hotel & Conference Centre, the event will draw tourism businesses, organizations and suppliers as well as government representatives from across the North for three days of workshops, informational sessions, guest speakers, a tradeshow, and networking opportunities.

This year’s theme is ‘Experience. Engage. Empower. Excel.’

The event is a joint initiative of Destination Northern Ontario and Nature and Outdoor Tourism Ontario.

Topics to be addressed include:

  • international marketing and artificial intelligence,
  • building authentic partnerships with Indigenous communities,
  • new and emerging visitor market trends,
  • adapting for international travel,
  • accessibility guidelines,
  • and transportation challenges and opportunities.

In addition, Northern Ontario’s top tourism achievers will be celebrated at the President’s Gala and Awards Dinner on Nov. 26.

Registration for the event is expected to open soon.
