COCHRANE — There's a new place to rest your head in Cochrane.
Choice Hotels Canada has opened its first property in Cochrane, a Comfort Inn and Suites, which uses the brand's rise and shine prototype.
"This is my dream project," said owner Jaydeep Dodiya in a news release.
"I love the community. It is a beautiful town and I've raised my family here. I am so proud to have opened my latest hotel here and thrilled it has already been embraced by the community and visitors alike."
Dodiya has been involved in the hospitality industry for nearly two decades, with her career starting in 2006.
The 68-room hotel is located at 25 Western Ave. It has seven suites, a complimentary hot breakfast, 24-hour fitness centre and hot tub, and meeting space for groups of up to 18 people.
"This hotel is a standout example of the refreshed Comfort brand, and the overwhelmingly positive guest feedback reinforces that we're delivering on what travellers want," said Brian Leon, Choice Hotels Canada CEO.
"We're confident this property will play an important role for both visitors and the community.
