Lakehead University’s Advanced Technology and Academic Center (ATAC) has officially opened it doors.
“ATAC provides modern, high-tech capability and connectivity that allows academic programming to be available literally throughout the world. ATAC offers our students an educational environment second to none,” says Dr. Fred Gilbert, president of the university.
Through videoconferencing and Web streaming, ATAC breaks down the barriers of distance by allowing students to gain access to courses anywhere where the technology is available.
Numerous corporations and foundations and organizations have supported and endorsed ATAC.
