Thunder Bay rep to chair Ontario chamber board

Nathan Lawrence of Thunder Bay will helm the board of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce for the 2021-2022 year.

The Ontario Chamber of Commerce has named Nathan Lawrence of Thunder Bay its board chair for the 2021-2022 year.

His appointment was announced during the chamber's annual general meeting, held virtually May 4-5.

Lawrence is a managing partner with Royal LePage Lannon Realty and a licensed mortgage broker with Dominion Lending Centres Mortgage Excellence.

He holds an honours bachelor of commerce degree, with a major in human resource management, from Lakehead University.

Lawrence is also an active community member.

He has served two terms on the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce board of directors, serving as chair for the 2018-2019 year.

Additionally, he is the past president of the Northwestern Ontario Associated Chambers of Commerce and sat on the board of directors of SHIFT: Thunder Bay’s Young Professionals Network, serving two years as president.

Lawrence joined the Ontario Chamber's board of directors in 2015.
