Timmins’ annual mining tradeshow is scheduled to take place June 7-8 in 2023.
Canadian Mining Expo, hosted by Canadian Trade-Ex, has become one of the largest gatherings of mining expertise in Northern Ontario. It's held each spring at the McIntyre Arena in Timmins, in the shadow of the McIntyre Mine headframe.
Among the show's anticipated events are equipment demonstrations, investor presentations, an education and training conference, an Aboriginal forum, and a gala dinner.
This marks the 30th year for the event, referred to locally as "The Big Event.”
After being cancelled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, the event went virtual in 2021 before returning to an in-person format in 2022.
Last year, more than 400 exhibitors appeared at the show, which was attended by thousands of visitors from across the globe.
