Sudbury shows off its mining prowess during Modern Mining and Technology Week, which kicks off April 26.

Held at various venues around the city, the event highlights the industry career opportunities, offers teacher and student workshops, and provides public tours of Sudbury’s mining history and re-greening efforts.

Mark Frayne of KGHM International will be the keynote speaker at a May 2 luncheon to talk about the company’s plans to build its Victoria copper-nickel mine in Worthington, west of Sudbury.
