Nemis came up with the Ring of Fire name to describe the string of chromite and nickel deposits at McFaulds Lake in the James Bay lowlands.

In an April 8 release, Blaine Webster, Goldeye president-CEO, said he’s “thrilled” to work with Nemis, who was instrumental establishing Goldeye and served as a director from 1996 to 2012.

Goldeye is advancing its Weebigee gold project through the discovery stage near Sandy Lake in northwestern Ontario.

Nemis, a Sudbury native, graduated from the University of Ottawa and Osgoode Law School, and has practiced in the fields of corporate, commercial and securities law.
