Kodiak Exploration has intersected high-grade gold mineralization on its Knucklethumb Property in northwestern Ontario.

The Vancouver junior exploration company reports its initial phase diamond drilling has yielded a high-grade zone traced to a vertical depth of 125 metres and 50 metres west of its main surface showing. The company says the vein system in its Claim Line Gold Zone remains open at depth and along

strike at depth.

Their wholly owned Knucklethumb Lake Property lies 210 kilometres northeast of Thunder Bay.

One drill hole returned an assay of 39.09 grams/tonne gold, which the company believes comes from a vein estimated at about 120 grams/tonne of gold.

Their ongoing drill program on the property is testing several different showings to assess economic potential, and will establish further drilling priorities.
