Export seminar set for the Sault

A seminar to help mining supply and services companies explore export opportunities will be held in Sault Ste. Marie on June 5. The seminar is an initiative of the Mining Supply and Services Export Assistance Program.

A seminar to help mining supply and services companies explore export opportunities will be held in Sault Ste. Marie on June 5. The seminar is an initiative of the Mining Supply and Services Export Assistance Program.

Speakers will include:

-Mel Sauve, president of Global Growth, who will discuss secrets to expanding your business into new markets and important marketing tips and sales skills that will aid in growing your export business.

-Paul Bradette, trade and investment specialist from the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines, who will present programs supported by the Province of Ontario available to mining supply and services companies, including organized trade missions and in-market employees who can aid your transition into new markets.

-Neil Robinson, trade commissioner-mining equipment and services/building products from the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development. He will advise you on different services that the Trade Commissioner Service Network can provide to mining supply and services companies in more than 150 countries.

There is no cost to attend, but space is limited.

The Mining Supply and Services Export Marketing Assistance Program is delivered by Ontario's North Economic Development Corporation (ONEDC), supported by FedNor, and funded by the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corp. (NOHFC). It has been created to assist Northern Ontario-based mining supply and services companies expand their marketing reach and grow their customer base outside of Ontario.
