The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund has kicked in support to 11 agricultural initiatives across Northern Ontario.
A total of $3,214,696 has been invested in the agricultural sector to help strengthen its competitiveness now and in the future, says the Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Minister Brian Coburn.
"Farming is one of the backbones of Ontario's economy," Coburn says. "When the agri-food industry prospers, we all benefit."
