Northern College graduates are getting high marks from employers, and that has led to a provincial funding contribution of $152,629. The operating grants were based on three key performance indicators for 2001-02 including a 93.7 employer satisfaction rate, higher than the 91.4 per cent provincial average. Graduate satisfaction measured up to 77.1 per cent, while graduate employment rate after six months was pegged at 79.1. It is the second year a fraction of annual provincial funding to colleges has been tied to an institution's performance in key performance areas.
