The funding is the final installment of the $1-billion Pulp and Paper Green Transformation Program (PPGRT).

Resolute Forest Products will get funding for two projects to increase its production of renewable electricity and improve its environmental performance.

AV Terrace Bay Inc. will get funding for two projects to increase the mill’s renewable energy production, as well as to improve its energy efficiency and to significantly reduce odours.

Domtar Inc. will get funding for two projects at its Espanola facility aimed at enhancing the environmental performance of the mill through the installation of electricity and steam-saving equipment.
