Tulloch Engineering acquires Hamilton firm

Tulloch Engineering is expanding into southern Ontario with the acquisition of Hamilton’s A.J. Clarke and Associates. A.J. Clarke will keep its name but will operate as a division of Tulloch.

Tulloch Engineering is expanding into southern Ontario with the acquisition of Hamilton’s A.J. Clarke and Associates.

A.J. Clarke will keep its name but will operate as a division of Tulloch. The combined workforce will reach more than 250 technical and professional staff.

“We are excited about our partnership with Tulloch enabling us to capitalize on their expertise and expand the services we provide to include geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, environmental science, and mapping services,” said Barry Clarke, president of A.J. Clarke & Associates.  “Our ultimate goal is to continue to be a one-stop shop for our client base.

“This marks our first step into southern Ontario and the Golden Horseshoe,” said Tulloch COO Mark Tulloch. “We are quite honoured that A.J. Clarke is joining our team, and we are eager to continue the legacy that Mr. Clarke started 54 years ago.”

Established more than 20 years ago, Tulloch maintains offices in Thessalon, Espanola, Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Elliot Lake, Parry Sound, Huntsville and Ottawa.

Tulloch is a multi-disciplinary engineering firm with services in civil engineering, environmental studies, geomatics engineering, LiDAR and mapping services, transportation engineering, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering and forestry engineering.

A.J. Clarke specializes in surveying, planning and engineering services to the building and development community.
