Derek Cashmore takes the reins at Sudbury and District Home Builders’ Association

Derek Cashmore has been named president of the Sudbury and District Home Builders’ Association.

Cashmore takes up his new post on Dec. 1. He is currently vice president.

The Sudbury and District Home Builders’ Association represents more than 50 home builders, renovators, land developers, architects, building product suppliers, service professionals and more.

“The Sudbury and District Home Builders’ Association is the voice of the residential construction industry in Greater Sudbury, representing all members across the region since  1959,” Cashmore said. “Since then, this association has advocated for you and your businesses in matters directly impacting where we live and how we do business here in Greater Sudbury.”

Louie Zagordo, the association’s current president, is scheduled to become president of the Ontario Home Builders’ Association effective Sept. 18, 2022.
