The City of Kenora has chosen First Professional Shopping Centres to develop a $15-million retail development project. The project will add 150,000 square feet of retail space on a 15-acre site. First Professional would not disclose of the names of retail chains which may become tenants. A spokesperson with the company did say that it would not be an enclosed mall, but a cluster of separate stores. The company is expected to begin construction on at least part of the project next spring.
