The schedule is now available for the 2023 Northern Ontario Ag Conference, hosted by the Northern Ontario Farm Innovation Alliance (NOFIA).
Slated to take place Feb. 15-16 at Sudbury’s Holiday Inn, the event will draw agricultural specialists from across the North to network, share their research, and learn about the industry’s latest innovations.
This marks the first time since 2020 that the event will be held in person.
Topics to be covered include: opportunities for agriculture in Northern Ontario; land conversion, sustainability in agronomy; forage opportunities; nutrient management; direct marketing; and innovations in horticulture.
A more detailed program is expected to be available closer to the event.
Based in Temiskaming, NOFIA was formed in 2014 to develop strategies and partnerships to ensure the advancement of agricultural research and innovation in Northern Ontario.
