The second annual Northern Ontario Ag Conference will take place Feb. 12-13 in Sudbury.
A joint initiative of the Northern Ontario Farm Innovation Alliance (NOFIA) and the Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association (OSCIA), the conference brings together agriculture industry stakeholders to speak about best practices, network and learn.
This year’s theme is ‘Sharing Knowledge, Growing Together.’
Full details about the event, along with a schedule, will be available shortly.
Founded in 2014, NOFIA is a non-profit agricultural organization that aims to advance agricultural research and innovation in Northern Ontario.
Some of its programs have centred on tile drainage and conducting crop trials, including malting barley, to introduce new commodities to the region.
