February 17 and 18 have been announced as the dates for the 2022 Northern Ontario Ag Conference.
An initiative of the Northern Ontario Farm Innovation Alliance (NOFIA), the conference annually provides an opportunity for producers and researchers to share their research and best practices in agriculture in Northern Ontario.
This year's two-day event will take place virtually, and registration is free to participants.
More details about the event, including the roster of speakers, topics, and registration, are expected in the coming days.
Founded in 2014, NOFIA is a non-profit agricultural organization that aims to advance agricultural research and innovation in Northern Ontario.
Some of its programs have centred on tile drainage and conducting crop trials, including malting barley, to introduce new commodities to the region.
