WipWare inks Russian deal

WipWare Inc. of North Bay has an agreement with Konvels Automation Ltd. to represent and distribute WipWare products in the former Soviet Union.

According to its website, Konvels Automation, with locations in Moscow and St. Petersburg, represents a number of foreign manufacturers of instrumentation and automation systems, and works in the field of automation of technological processes in various industries throughout Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

“This agreement is the culmination of a number of years working with Konvels and solidifies four years of ongoing relationships within Russia,” said WipWare president Tom Palangio in a press release. “It gives us a local presence in that market and the ability to communicate with customers in their own language and allows us to apply our experience in the mining, mineral processing and aggregate industries.”

WipWare designs and manufactures industry leading photoanalysis software and hardware that offers real-time analysis of materials in the field, laboratory, on-line production settings for underground and surface mining, quarries, aggregate production, forestry, coal industries and many more. WipWare offers stationary and mobile systems for conveyors, haulage trucks and and site-specific locations.
