Wallbridge, Lonmin approve $1.25M program for Sudbury JV

Wallbridge Mining Company Limited and platinum producer Lonmin Plc have approved $1.25 million to be used on exploring their Sudbury Camp Joint Venture properties in 2011.

Wallbridge Mining Company Limited and platinum producer Lonmin Plc have approved $1.25 million to be used on exploring their Sudbury Camp Joint Venture properties in 2011.

The joint venture consists of seven properties spread across 163 square kilometres in the Sudbury camp, and the exploration program will involve looking for platinum, palladium, copper and nickel.

The funding will be used on 4,100 metres of drilling through to Sept. 30, 2011.

Specifically, exploration will focus on testing geological and geophysical targets in structures on the Trill, Windy Lake, Skynner Lake and Creighton South properties.

Lonmin is contributing $1 million to the program, with Wallbridge providing the remaining $250,000.
