The Timmins business community was out in full force to celebrate its own at the Chamber of Commerce's 2010 Nova Business Excellence Awards on May 7 at the most well-attended ceremony in the event's eight-year history.
More than 450 attendees filled the McIntyre Arena to honour the 16 local businesses and entrepreneurs who were selected for awards. Themed with diamonds in celebration of the Chamber's 60th anniversary, the event began with an exclusive reception for the winners. A ceremony followed, highlighting each finalist with a brief vignette before announcing the winner. The evening capped off with a post-awards celebration.
