Sudbury will play host to a safety and prevention conference and trade show Oct. 2.
The one-day Partners in Prevention 2012 event, put on by Health & Safety Ontario, will take place at the Holiday Inn and is targeted to the communities of Sudbury, Kapuskasing, Elliot Lake, Timmins and the Tri-Towns.
The conference will feature a series of workshops, along with guest speakers Dr. Michel Larivière, an associate professor at Laurentian University, and Paul Greco, director of corporate EH&S Canada for Spectra Energy/Union Gas. The trade show will feature two dozen exhibitors in the health care and safety fields.
