Marc Levasseur will continue in a second term as president of the Sudbury & District Home Builders’ Association.
“The board and I are excited about the coming year and the opportunity to complete and further our goals,” Levasseur said in a news release. “We have broadened our goals in advocacy, awareness and recruitment. I invite all companies in the residential construction industry to get involved with the association. Together we can increase professionalism and consumer confidence in our industry.”
Joining Levasseur is Phil Monkhouse as first vice-president, Michael Giles as second vice-president, Chris Jollineau as treasurer and Joanne Caouette as past president.
Directors include Alex Sorensen, Bob Myers, Bryan Dixon, Dave Arnold, Dennis Centis, John Zulich, Ken Kaltianinen, Kevin Landers, Mike Witherell and Shon Cantin.
The past president’s appointment is Eldon Gainer.
The association will hold an information session on Feb. 5 in downtown Sudbury.
It represents the local residential construction industry, and includes local builders, renovators, suppliers and professionals.
