Sudbury home builders recognize members

The Sudbury & District Home Builders’ Association (SDHBA) has honoured six of its members for their contributions to the association. The Hall of Fame Award went to Faye Gartley of @homeEnergy.

The Sudbury & District Home Builders’ Association (SDHBA) has honoured six of its members for their contributions to the association.

The Hall of Fame Award went to Faye Gartley of @homeEnergy. This award is presented to an individual who has been actively involved for at least 10 years, in recognition of dedication to promoting the aims and objectives of the SDHBA.

Firm of the Year was awarded to Fisher Wavy Inc. The award is presented to a firm in recognition of outstanding contributions and continuous support.

Member of the Year was awarded to two members. Michael Giles of Convoy Supply and Shon Cantin of Reliance Home Comfort were recognized for their outstanding contribution, dedication and continuous support of the association.

Two Canadian Home Builders’ Association Awards of Honour were also given out. Dave Arnold of Dalron Homes was named in the builder or renovator category, while Marc G. Levasseur of MGL Drafting & Consulting was named in the non-builder category. The awards recognize outstanding contributions to promote the association locally. Levasseur is also the president of the Sudbury association.

Since 1959 the Sudbury & District Home Builders’ Association has been the voice of the residential construction industry in Sudbury & District. Members agree to conduct their business based on its code of ethics and are recognized for their professionalism in the residential construction industry.
