Sudbury contractor lands Highway 144 job

Interpaving Ltd. of Sudbury was awarded a $9.5 million contract to resurface a portion of Highway 144 between Sudbury and Timmins . More than 24 kilometres of the highway is being reconstructed near Gogama.

Interpaving Ltd. of Sudbury was awarded a $9.5 million contract to resurface a portion of Highway 144 between Sudbury and Timmins.

More than 24 kilometres of the highway is being reconstructed near Gogama. The provincial government said 90 jobs will be created.

Earlier this year, four kilometres of Highway 661 near Gogama was resurfaced.
