Sudbury construction head receives industry award

Denis Shank, executive director of the Sudbury Construction Association, will receive the 2010 President's Award at the Council of Ontario Construction Association's (COCA) annual conference in Woodbridge, Feb. 24.

Denis Shank, executive director of the Sudbury Construction Association, will receive the 2010 President's Award at the Council of Ontario Construction Association's (COCA) annual conference in Woodbridge, Feb. 24.

He will share the award with Martha George, president of the Grand Valley Construction Association.

The award recognizes outstanding contribution of a member association or association member to COCA in many aspects of its business.

COCA calls Shank a committed association supporter who participates on all standing committees and is a strong voice for the concerns of local construction assocations and employers in Northern Ontario.
